These Energy Flasks are the perfect size for my DIY gels. They fit easily in my top tube bag and jersey pockets, and they have a really nice feel in hand. The flasks are easy to fill and easy to clean. The caps snap on tightly so is no leaking but they are easy to open. Great design and I highly recommend!
These are great. No more sticky fingers when running or cycling. Easy to carry fit nicely in back jersey pocket or in my running pouch.
I’m still working on the perfect mixture and enjoying clean hands and shirt pockets. I hate seeing the individual packets littering the trails.
Just tried for 1st time today. Simple honey, coffee and salt mix. Tasty.
I really like these. I like the firm form which makes it easier to identify & pull from my jersey pocket while riding and the nice, wide opening at the top for creating my own energy drink-(gu-like)-concoctions. Easy enough to clean as well. The only drawback is that the flask is so smooth I lost one sliding out of my jersey pocket on a little bumpy portion of my ride-which was a rode/tarmac (not gravel or mountain) trail; so now I am down to 3 flasks. But I would certainly recommend to anyone.
I mostly use these when I go out on my longer rides (2+ hours). I’m also starting to bring them hiking and running - they are the perfect size. I’ll probably bring one or two when I go skiing this winter too. They are a little smaller than some of the other bottles and soft flasks I’ve tried, which makes them better for what I need. I just fill them at home before my ride with a few energy gels and a little water to make it more drinkable. Then I put them in my jersey pockets, or in my hip pack when out mountain biking. I’m also looking forward to experimenting with my own DIY gel to save a little money. I don’t miss the days of carrying around sticky garbage, that’s for sure. Overall, I really like these flasks. And they are really EASY TO WASH! I just use soap and water under the sink, but sometimes I put them on the top rack of the dishwasher. Highly recommended!
